Why are we different?
At Falls Music School, we believe that the best way to learn the drums (or anything for that matter) is by having it tailored to the specific way someone learns and focuses on what they're most interested in, while still ensuring all fundamentals needed to become a well-rounded musician are still covered.
This is why each drum teacher here is able to take their own different approach with each student. This keeps lessons engaging and fun, while still making students the best drummers they can be. Forcing every teacher to follow canned lesson plans can only lead frustration and boredom. We're here to help make more musicians in the world, not less!
Does my child need private lessons?
The fact of the matter is that students involved in band excel even farther when able to also receive one-on-one instruction. This can help with overall musicianship by improving things like technique, mastery of difficult passages, supplemental repertoire, and many others.
Many schools with top performing bands actually require students to take private lessons as well, since it is not possible to give each student the individual attention required to help hone their craft from a band instructor alone.
Cameron is also an excellent drum set player and can teach students who are not involved in band and wish to have the drum set as their primary focus.
